Box 26: Your Move, Mom

This box was painted by Lilith, my 4 year old daughter. I added vintage dictionary definitions of ‘mother’ and a painted game piece. This long-overdue box reflects my struggle to balance self, work, motherhood, spouse. Recent insight suggests I have more choice than I thought.

Materials: commercial jewelry box, wood game piece, plastic caster, acrylic, paper, adhesive, and 4 yr old vision, with 35 yr old reflection.
